ZINE DESIGN

About

The 'dysleixa' project as a whole aims to communicate the right information to the people who need it and achieve the goal of normalising dyslexia. The final outcome, a zine lists the essential touch points that should be considered when dealing in a certain situation or setting.

The main issue at hand is the availability of excess material and resources but not a lot of them have a straightforward message on how to handle dyslexia without any biases or prenotions. This project has a task of educating the target audience about the important aspects and resources of dyslexia.

Target Audience

  • Toddlers who have been diagnosed with dyslexia

  • Parents (of said toddlers)

  • Teachers and mentors

Why A Zine?

Zines, which are just mini versions of magazines provide a lot of freedom when you only want to convey information about one single topic. Zines are also easy to look at and read, due to the less and compact information.
